Ingredients

36 Oreo cookies (approx. 1 standard family-size package), divided

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions

For the crust: Finely crush 24 Oreo cookies (about 2 cups of crumbs) in a food processor or by placing them in a Ziploc bag and crushing with a rolling pin. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the melted butter, mixing until well combined.

Press the Oreo mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.

For the filling: In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated and no lumps remain.

In a separate, chilled large bowl, whip the heavy cream on high speed until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.
